I was transfered from hmp wolton were I was getting really good treatment on my leg as I had a really bad ulcer that needed regular dressings an pain relief it was healing really good at wolton then I got transfered to Lindolme where I didn't get to see a doctor when I got there as there wasn't 1 available then I had to wait atleast 1 month to see a doctor then when I finally seen them they arranged for my leg to be dressed twice a wk but then when I went to have it Done there was no appropriate dressings available so I cudnt keep it clean as they just fell off within the same day. What then caused it to get infected an that carried on for the rest of my sentence.
It went from bad to worse and you had to wait months to see a doctor it was really depressing an stressful. I asked for a copy of my medical files an found nothing but lies in it say in that I got propper dressings on regular which I thought to be unprofessional and discustin I have never been treated as bad in my life. I think inmates should get the same treatment as you would on the outside.
