From the moment I arrived at the hospital I was made to feel welcome and relaxed. The nurses explained what was going to happen and completed their questionnaire on me with empathy and good humour. The Anaesthetists were brilliant and again good humoured. That makes a difference to the approach to the operation. After the operation a number of different nurses took care of me and everyone was an absolute diamond. I could not have been looked after better, the staff were fantastic.
