A few weeks ago I fell and tore the ligaments in my ankle. As a result I had to attend Wishaw accident and emergency hospital and would like to take the time to thank Liz (apologies for not catching your last name), the nurse who looked after me. Liz is a true credit to her profession - kind and knowledgeable.

She took the time to speak to my fiance and I, explained in detail the nature of my injury, the aftercare required and was kind enough to personalise this to my work.

We really cannot thank her enough for her kindness and professionalism. Please let Liz know that we are on track to get my wedding shoes on!

I am so pleased that you found your experience a positive one and the staff will be delighted to read your kind words and will be happy to hear your updated progress. I am delighted that you are going to manage to get your wedding shoes on!

The ED staff have a very difficult job, and carry this out with the patient being at the centre of everything.
