"I would like to see an improvement on a healthy lifestyle"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as the patient),

I would like more information about Care pathways and to be more honest about it all.

Also I am concerned about staff hygiene around food and serving wearing gloves and stop the cleaners serving food straight after cleaning the wards.

I would like to see an improvement on a healthy lifestyle

They do and try and do a good range of activities

However you may have noticed that work has been undertaken to integrate the Men’s Personality Disorder and Peaks Services to ensure patients have a single treatment pathway, which meets the needs of and is accessible to all men who need it. Patients and clinicians have reported that the integration had broadened treatment opportunities for all patients and has reduced unnecessary duplication of provision across Peaks and PD services. The integration of care pathways will continue to be developed and updates will be presented in ward community meetings as well as in multi-disciplinary care reviews. Your comments and those of your colleagues are essential for continuously improving the quality of high secures and patient experience and recovery. So I hope that you engage in the discussions about care pathways in ward community meetings, case reviews and the Directorate Involvement and Recovery Group.

Infection prevention and control is essential to the health and well-being of all patients. Your ward manager will therefore welcome receiving any concerns about staff hygiene and not meeting the infection prevention and control when serving food. I shall request patients’ views in their dining experience at the next Directorate Involvement and Recovery Group to find out if the situation has improved.
