"a&e have ridiculous waiting times"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Accident and emergency

At the time of writing this, we've been waiting for over 3 hours to get help for my girlfriend who has a scratch on her eye. It took over 40 minutes for her to be seen by a nurse (who always have to refer you to a doctor). Then waited another hour and a half for the doctor. Then the doctor needed a creme to start examining the eye and the doctor disappeared for over half an hour? Once the examination had concluded, the doctor advised us we simply needed to wait for an ointment to be handed over. This was well over an hour ago and we are still waiting here.

You have to pay for parking which I find to be ridiculous, and I've seen people come through with holes in their heads who are still waiting for help. I am disgusted by the reception staff who do not escalate anything to the dealing team.
