"The Sleep Clinic"

My son was struggling to settle for months since he went into his own toddler bed. I was having late, sleepless nights. He would scream out for me and just did not want to go to sleep. I found out that Sure Start run a sleep clinic for children and I got an assessment appointment. THANK GOODNESS. A huge thank you to Sam who helped looked at what was happening before bed time and advised me to consider some changes or alternatives. She was not pushy, very understanding and everything she said made EXACT sense. We used the sleep timetable for my son and within days the routine was sorted. He was going to sleep at a satisfactory time and through persistence of following it through we have limited night awakenings. I am now referring to more parents like me as no-one really knows this support exists. Its helped us no end with our own moods and sleep. We are a happier house and have a happier child.
