"Cau"

About: Hereford County Hospital / Accident and emergency

Yesterday my sister was taken to Cau by ambulance she arrived at about 4pm and blood tests were done at 6 ,she was in a lot of pain, but despite me repeatedly asking nurse she wasn't given any pain relief. After I kept pestering she was given diagnosis of pneumonia at 11.15 pm. She still hadn't been given any pain relief when I left at midnight. This is totally unacceptable in hospital, and at one point I realised we hadn't seen any member of staff for nearly 2 hours. Also when I left she still hadn't been given a wristband despite numerous nurses saying they would get one.
