Last year I broke my hand/radius, on holiday, abroad.
Returned, the doctor plastered it for three weeks. Felt better.
This year, since April, I have pain on the other side; numbness in two fingers; fine mobility being the most affected (brushing teeth, hair-when doing circular movements). Asked appointment from GP, twice during a month.
Finally, succeeded!
GP asked me to find myself an appointment on the computer... I did.
end of July!
So from the end of April until the end of July, I had to wait!
At the clinic, the doctor, polite and mannered asked me where do I work, since when I am in the UK and what is the problem. Told him.
Checked my hand, started to write something on a paper, talked to the nurse BUT not a single word about my pain/reason.
Asked me to go to the desk, give the papers and wait for an appointment to Physiotherapy, by post.
Today arrived the appointment.
No diagnosis.
Nothing mentioning WHY do I have the pain, what kind of treatment I will follow, nothing!
My question is: How can you treat a patient without communication?
What kind of work is this when you do not ask, do not listen do not request information and details, to build a case, to make sure that your 'diagnostic' is the right one?
I do not question anybody's professionalism but I am intrigued by this mechanical medical check-up!
I can talk!
I want to talk to solve my health problem!
"No communication with me to diagnose problem"
