"Couldn't have been looked after better"

I was speaking with a patient at a home visit. He had recently been discharged from wards 6 and 10 at the Borders General Hospital and he said " he couldn't have been looked after better! " and I thought this was worth sharing.

Dear BordersGP,

Thanks for taking the time to feed back to us about your patient's care! It can be hard for the elderly to provide feedback (particularly online!) and so I am really delighted to hear that they felt well cared for! The advent of the frailty team in the BGH has been an enormously positive addition and as lead clinician, I feel confident that our frail, elderly population are in excellent hands!
