After more than two years of being signed off sick, ARI finally diagnosed via a pain consultation that I had ilionguinal nerve entrapment, along with a bartholin gland problem, and osteo arthritis, pain wise they were good at prescribing millions of tablets, then I was told they could inject for the nerve pain, fine but I then waited six months for the first injection, which worked, so I returned to work, as pain consultant advised they would repeat this procedure every three/four months, despite being told this I then had to wait another 15 months for the next injection, which did again work, but now I have been waiting 16 months for another injection, despite constant calls to the pain clinic all they do is say they are very busy, and I am again left in mortal agony waiting on the NHS,
I don't understand why if NHS Grampian have not got enough staff, then they should at least arrange for a pain consultant in another area to be utilised, but I have been advised if I go to another area then I would have to remain in that other area? which is not very suitable,
