Having kept generally well throughout my life I've had very little need to access the NHS as a patient. After becoming pregnant last year however, I experienced much more contact with health professionals and I can honestly say that each individual was as lovely and caring as the last.
From the midwives, to the hospital staff, the health visitors and the multitude of breastfeeding support staff I have felt extremely well looked after and my mind has always been put at ease if I've ever had any concerns.
My baby is now 3 months old and the support continues at the local weekly breastfeeding support group, baby clinic and contact with my designated health visitor.
I can't thank all the maternity staff enough for everything they have done for me and my daughter over the last year, not only do they do a phenomenal job but they do it with a smile and have the ability to put you at ease in any situation.
"They do a phenomenal job and they do it with a smile!"
