"29th July - 10/10 all departments"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

On July 29th my father in law collapsed in the street with what we now know was a severe fall in blood pressure. We just wanted to convey our absolute gratitude for the way every member of staff supported us with this unfortunate incident. It started with the lady who took the call on the emergency line who guided us through a CPR procedure 10/10. Paramedics arrived within minutes who we can only describe as first class 10/10. Arrival at the hospital and treatment by the nurses and staff 10/10. Consultations by junior and Senior consultants 10/10. Overnight stay on B ward was exemplary as was the Matron who managed the ward 10/10. Cleanliness & food 10/10. Whilst recently the various departments of the NHS have come under criticism we can only say that the service offered was outstanding.....Thank you!.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It sounds like a very scary experience and we very much hope that your father in law is feeling better. I am really pleased to hear that you thought the care he received was outstanding and I am sure the team at North East Ambulance Service and the hospital will be delighted to hear your feedback.
