"No empathy for excruciating pain"

About: Wexham Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

I came in to visit for a problem which has occurred several times previously severe constipation and need of an enema. Ealing hospital regardless of how busy they are see u and understand the issue within 2 hours max. After waiting for a doc to call prior to coming in for 4 hours, blood tests, urine samples given and asking for a doctor asap for an enema- still sittling waiting 5 hours later and still no idea of when I will be seen and just given buscopan which is relief for ibs and one of the side effects being constipation! I understand hospitals get busy but this is beyond a joke when I know what I need and a bed could be free for someone else but the nurses have no authority to do anything even let us know when we will be seen. To top it off it's freezing in the hospital as the air con is stuck at cool. If I wasn't ill with a cold/flu before I came in I'll most definitely walk out with one. Absolute disgrace and I wouldn't recommend anyone come here for an emergency as it's not dealt with as an emergency!
