"They went above and beyond."

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

Due to a loss of vision for 48 hours, I contacted my vitreoretinal surgeon's secretary. He had told me to contact them in an emergency if there is an issue, due to the rare condition I have, as it could deteriorate rapidly.

Her name was Samantha and within 30 minutes of leaving her a voicemail she got me an appointment. I saw one of my consultant's colleagues Miss Loua, who was also amazing and confirmed my sight had deteriorated and set up an appointment for me to see my consultant when he comes back.

I cannot fault these two members of staff. They both went above and beyond and were truly wonderful. Pass on my regards. And a big brownie point too!
