I have returned to the practice after a time away from rotherham. In this time I have been diagnosed with multiple long term conditions due to the processing of nhs england my medical notes have not arrived at the practice this is not there fault however i have had two visits now to a practice nurse whom at both visits has insisted I am unfit. This has upset me. I have multiple long term conditions and suffer greatly with fatigue. I am not one to sit back and allow everyone to do for me. I have made the extra effort allowing two days following to recover to come into the practice to see the practice nurse. I have not asked for home visits I have attempted to come into the surgery despite my levels of fatigue. I feel that calling a patient unfit before you have there medical notes from old practice is unprofessional. . It is extremely difficult and exhausting for me to come into the practice and I feel my achievement should be praised instead of being told I am unfit.
I am living with multiple long term conditions on a day to day basis which cause me fatigue. I am managing these conditions alone as my notes are yet to arrive and new referrals are yet to come through. I do not feel I should then be insulted when I make the extra effort to come into the practice when I do not really have the energy or strength to do so.
I would like a written apology to the insults I have faced when visiting the practice nurse
