After a series of falls leading to severe lack of confidence in going out, my doctor referred me to the Falls Clinic.
The classes were very gentle, nothing very alarming but surprisingly the exercises have been very effective.
I still try to do them everyday and remember most days.
They are quite short so this is not very onerous.
My confidence has come back.
I try to walk at least a couple of miles every day.
My balance has improved a lot and I can now raise my toes from the ground, which I found impossible during the exercises.
I think this contributed to my tripping.
I am very grateful for the help I received and have recommended the Clinic a couple of friends who have had falls.
