"My deaf sister."

About: Circle-Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre

My sister cannot hear & manages lip reading but with some help from me, mostly assurance that she understands & doesn't miss anything important to her surgery & recovery. Every member of staff, from the car park assistant, the desk clerks, the member of staff that bought tea & biscuits, right through to my sisters consultant, you were fantastic, thankyou for taking such good care of her. Staff went that little extra at every opportunity. My sister was able to have her mint tea, biscuits or sandwich suitable for ceoliac & each person that spoke to her took the time to make sure she had understood, was comfortable & not needing for anything. If only derby & others could learn from you. I can't thank you all enough or praise the commitment of care given, thankyou all.
