Visited recently and greeted by a lovely receptionist at Stockton, it was extremely busy and being an emergency service there is hardly any surprise. I was then seen by a lovely nurse who explained exactly what has happening. It was discussed how there was a few to be seen and I would need to wait but this was brilliant so I was aware that there would be, I was assured that I would be seen and not forgotten about.Their professionalism was brilliant with some of the people that they had to see. The nurse was also showing a lovely, kind new member of staff the ropes who was with them, which they are clearly very good at. I was called round actually very quickly after and I was pleasantly surprised to be seen by the same person. The nurse took their time to explain to both of us what was happening as we were both anxious. They gave some simple answers that were easy to understand and took their time even though I know how much pressure they were under trying to organise many things and faced with challenges as we watched the "comings and goings" of many people. The nurse is obviously very clever and what a credit your staff are to you and just how special we were made to feel.
"Pleasure to be poorly at urgent care..."
