"This unit is amazing and so are the staff"

About: Stonehouse Hospital

(as a relative),

My mum came to the Lockhart Unit with case notes saying Palitive care, she wasnt expected to last the weekend, that was over a year ago. Sadly my mum passed 3 weeks ago and we personally feel the care and love shown to her by all the staff kept her alive, this unit is amazing and so are the staff. When my mum passed the nusre in charge told me "she was ours too", this gave me great comfort knowing that the staff went over and above their job, honestly could not praise the staff enough.

Dear very grateful relative,

Firstly, please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of your mum. I will ensure our team at Lockhart Unit know just how they helped to leave an impression with you and the family regarding their care for your mum.

I'm so pleased you found everyone to be person centered and caring as it is a true privilege for us to look after others and share time with patients and families.

Kind Regards

Gwen
