"Mixed experience"

About: Hammersmith Hospital / Cardiology

I was admitted for open heart surgery. The experience between wards A6 and A9 Was night and day.

The staff in A6 were attentive and showed a very high level of caring. Any amount of praise would not be enough.

In contrast A9 was a complete disappointment and well below the expectation set in A6.

The room smelled of urine and despite my comments no changes were made. The majority of staff were disappointing. The only sollice was one member of staff and their trainer. They greeted me with a smile, encouraged my recovery and gave valuations advice for my return home.

I hope my feedback leads to an improvement in A9 and a better experience for your future patients.
