was transferred to Ipswich after a huge wait at Colchester. I was seen in the Trauma and Orthopaedics clinic before my operation twice, the specialist nurse was extremely thorough, on time and my appointment was unrushed. My consultant appointment was also seamless and I felt fully included in any decision making and fully informed.
the whole process was straightforward and my care on Martlesham ward post op was also wonderful.
after waiting 8 months for the operation at Colchester I was contacted by Ipswich once my care was transferred and my operation performed within three weeks.
a very professional service and I felt at all times in very safe hands.
