Arrived early on the day and time specified, the person on reception was friendly and reassuring.The nursing staff greeted us and made sure we were at ease, completed their assessments and the consultant introduced them self explaining the procedure. Then straight into theatre back in the room with check ups and another visit from the consultant. As a day case we were then looked after for a few hours with nothing being any trouble.
"A teenage tonsillectomy- dreading the day !!"
