"Operation cancelled again!"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital / General surgery

I have had an issue that has been going on for over a year. This 'will' be my third operation. It was scheduled for May and got cancelled (today I found out that my surgeon had left withouf any notification to myself). Yesterday I went to the rescheduled operation, got gowned and then was told it was cancelled at the very last minute, not ideal when my wound is infected and I still am not aware of who my new surgeon is!

May I add that the staff on ward 11 were amazing, it's not their fault and they did everything they could to comfort me when I was so upset.
