"I do feel cared for by my named nurse"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as the patient),

I have care plans. And happy with them and I do sign them which is good. I do feel cared for by my named nurse they are alright.. They help me stay out of trouble and to move on. Sometime I see patients bullying, I see the Staff, and they sometimes do things, sometimes not… I struggle with patients teasing me. You need more Staff and we need more time at Southwell the day centre. I think we need a bit more support. . It’s good to be able to have a joke with Staff. Dinner and supper and acorn off ward activities are good. our dining room echoes too much and is to nosy

hi

Thank you for your feedback

I'm glad you feel you have a good relationship with your nurse and feel cared for. You say you at times witness bullying and feel teased yourself. We are doing some training in September for patients so we can support you around bullying and how to live with each other but in the meant me please if you feel at all bullied speak to your named nurse or ward manager and they will help and support you. If you want to speak to your matron ask her when she comes to your ward for a chat and she will support you too.

Thank you for posting
