"Thyroid disease"

About: Salisbury District Hospital / Endocrinology

Thyroid disease is a poor relation compared with diabetes and this is evidenced by my ongoing poor health where two pleasant endocrinologists only consider numbers on a lab report.

Despite providing evidence to back up my most serious and worrying symptom they have both failed to investigate.

If I can easily find research papers on this (hurrah for Google and PubMed) then why can't they.

My quality of life has been deteriorating meaning that my 25 years spent participating in outdoor sports came to an end.

I am also unable to work yet have no alternative but to purchase my own thyroid medication.

I shall not be returning.
