I brought my 83 year old friend to Broomfield A&E on Thursday night.
He was unable to urinate, after planned hernia surgery two days ago.
He was triaged speedily, evaluated by both A&E and Urology specialists then catheterised - which gave immediate relief.
All went well and he was discharged by 2am.
Throughout we received quiet, serious, calm professionalism from the staff which inspired confidence from an anxious patient.
