I took my Mum to A&E at Wishaw General because she was very breathless. The staff were unbelievably kind and very very thorough. Not only did they work out what was going on with her health, and save her life, they managed to do all of that with real care and a gentleness that was just amazing.
I am truly grateful to them all including: Lynn, Jan, Megan, Angela, Maureen, Mari, Eddie, Alison, Lana and a second student nurse whose name I didn't catch, And the doctors McKay, Paul and Maclean. There are probably other people whose names I missed and for that I apologise, but everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was really kind and absolutely superb.
Within two hours this amazing group of people had worked out what was wrong and transferred my Mum to ECU. Many many thanks to them all for making Mum (and me) feel reassured. Oh, and thanks for the coffee too 😊
