"Not very organized in reception or nurses at..."

About: Royal Orthopaedic Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Had an surgery at adcu the staff were good and the doctor's and nurses were nice and friendly at the recovery part but the hospital is not organized in a correct manner they should see patients have an early appointment or who has been there for longest period of time. I was there for about 7/8 hours after the appointment time was set for but the surgery was successful so I'm happy about that and the Anastastic doc were very professional and supportive and so were the nurses that look after you after the surgery. I think they should take consideration in patients that haven't eaten because of Anastasia be operated first instead of letting people that come much later on be seen and gone whilst some patients are still in the waiting room to be seen.

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you experienced such a wait. I do appreciate that we may have seen patients who arrived after you first, but the hospital has 10 operating theatres as well as a day case unit and the lists progress at different rates depending on the complexity of the procedures being undertaken. Having said that, the team are currently reviewing the admission process and arrival times for all patients as we do accept that we need to improve this. We are looking at a number of different options including reviewing the current staggered admission times. If you do want to discuss this, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards
