"Great treatment"

About: Lister Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited urgent care this evening after worsening pain in my foot. Was seen in around an hour (which is 2 hrs less than I expected), got xrayed and got some medical advice- suspected stress fracture.

Not anything they could do on the spot as injury was quite minor but was given info on what to do if pain worsens - looks like the problem was caused by a change in gait due to worsening discomfort for an old knee injury.

All the staff were amazing- the doctor I saw didn't rush at all and was really lovely, can imagine they make scared and nervous patients feel totally at ease!

Thanks for the feedback Emma, which we have passed on to the urgent care service team at the Lister's emergency department - we know that they will enjoy reading what you had to say about their service!

Do hope that your injury gets better soon....
