Booked appiintment online..easy and quick..good first consultation and fairly quick pre op assesment..operation got cancelled as pre op bloods came back abnormal..got appointment for blood results pretty quick..consultand recommended bloods repeated as low iron..came back normal but said need futher investigation discharged us by reffering to royal bolton hematology..waited a month ..no details sent to gp..just letter saying refferal made. ..rang to see if on waiting list at royal bolton..no record of refferal..rang buemont asking if they can sort it out..told no refferals been made and done our bit ..still waiting for appointment even though told it would be priority ..no blood test results or any details sent to gp..had to explain ourselves..had to book bloods at gp so they can have record of their own

We're really sorry to hear of the problems you have experienced after your treatment was transferred by us to another hospital.

Patient safety is our priority and every patient who is referred to us is assessed prior to their initial appointment, and throughout their care pathway.

Sometime this means that patients who appear initially to be suitable for treatment by ourselves, need to have their care transferred when a risk is identified afterwards.

This appears to have happened with you. Whilst we do everything we can to ensure a smooth transfer, we have no control over what happens after care has been transferred.
