Dear Anushka

Its so nice to get such great feedback for the Running for Better Health Group. Many congratulations on completing the Ealing 5K and winning that medal.

You seem to have used it really effectively and its amazing to know how its motivated you to go further - a half marathon! I know that Alison and Bev will be hugely impressed and of course delighted that you not only enjoyed the achievement side of things but also that the group enabled you to make links with others and be part of a team.

Talking to Alison about some of the reasons why people enjoy it, a common theme arises and it seems that many start out thinking that its an almost impossible goal but when they get there, it helps them realise that other goals are achievable as well.

I guess its important to note that not everyone is expected to run a half marathon by the end and completing the course in the company of others is rewarding in itself, even if the 5K is done at a brisk walk.

Well done Anushka.

On behalf of Alison and Bev and Ealing IAPT our best wishes to you.
