I was referred by my GP for a blood pressure/treadmill test and the next day I was called by the hospital to arrange an appointment in the next few days. I was astonished at the quickness of this referral. I went to the clinic and was given an ECG immediately on arrival then referred to nurse Pauline. After that I was given the treadmill test and got the results right away. I was fitted with a 24 hour blood pressure monitor a few days later and received my results three days after that. So from start to finish took two weeks.
The staff were fantastic so thank you to Pauline, Gary, Kathleen, Bill and Callum, you are a credit to the NHS in Scotland. Thank you for all your care.
