"Haematology unit"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Clinical haematology

I was diagnosed with essential thrombocythemia in 2011 at the young age of 25. Since then I have been under the care of the doctor who has been absolutely fantastic in supporting and guiding me through my illness. Each time I visit the hospital, I feel as though I am going to see a friend and not a doctor.

The administrative and secretarial staff are extremely efficient, organised and friendly - In particular, one member of the team has gone over and beyond in helping me book appointments that minimise disruption for me at work.

Keep up the good work all

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. We are sorry to hear about your condition but are delighted to hear about the level of care provided to you by the doctor and admin and secretarial staff and will pass on your feedback to the team where it will be much appreciated. Have you considered nominating the team or an individual for an award? http://www.leicestershospitals.nhs.uk/aboutus/our-purpose-strategy-and-values/caring-at-its-best-awards/

Kind regards,
