I recently took a visit to A&E as I had an exacerbation of asthma which I haven't had since I was very young (I'm now in my 20s). I felt like my condition wasn't serious enough for A&E however my Mum convinced me and took me straight there.
The staff were excellent and really understanding and reassuring. Everyone was so friendly and kind, the doctors, the nurses, the clarkess, the pharmacist - I couldn't be more thankful for everything they done for me. I was seen quickly and was in and out within an hour.
I want to thank the staff for their kindness and hard work, I feel that working in a place like A&E (and other departments) staff may not get the thanks they deserve from the general public and I feel they deserve that and more. It was also brought to my attention that if I was in a different country I would have had to pay for my treatment which would cost probably more than I could afford! So well done our NHS, I really hope we can keep you for a long time.
Thanks again to the staff for looking after me. Keep up the good work, you all deserve a pay rise for sure! Special thanks to nurses Jenna, and Cheryl as well as Doctors Carl and Sarah.
Kind regards,
"I want to thank the staff for their kindness and hard work"
