my brother has been in and out of hospital for the past 6 months and each time he has been left confused by all the different doctors telling him different things, he was given medication he isnt supposed to take even though he had a red band on to show he wasnt allowed. when he questioned the nurses on his care they witheld his pain medication for 2 and a half hours saying they were too busy, a catheter fitted to the patient next to my brother overflowed in the night the nurses cleaned the floor but mopped around my brothers bag which was under his bed, when he awoke and moved the bag there was a pool of urine underneath it, he spoke to the nurses but nothing was done for almost five hours when the floor was finally cleaned again the bag was left covered in urine until another complaint was made, he was discharged clearly before he was ready and left untreated, less than two weeks later he has been re-admitted due to pain and a severe infection that should of been treated previously, the medical staff have been uncaring and unprofessional and this needs to be dealt with before more people lose thier lives
