About: Wexham Park Hospital

What I liked

Absolutely nothing. The total incompetence of this hospital is just incredible. My son who is in severe pain with his knee, was referred for Physiotherapy sessions at Wexham Park Hospital. The referral form was handed in personally on 9th June due to the urgency of the request and we were assured that because he was a paediatric, he would be seen within two weeks. We waited patiently to be contacted, and six weeks later after being passed from pillar to post, we were told that someone hadn't passed the form to the paediatric team and it had been left in a drawer with the adult forms !! We have been advised that there are no appointments available and the earliest will be after two weeks, meaning it will be a minimum of eight weeks wait. Incompetence like this am sure, will not be tolerated in other hospitals and at least an attempt would've been made to rectify the situation sooner.

We're very disappointed with the service.

Anything else?

Incompetencies like this can cost lives, imagine if this had happened to someone who was in a critical situation and needed urgent medical attention, their condition could've deteriorated significantly due to such silly errors.
