"Ealing IAPT Running To Better Health"

About: Ealing IAPT

(as a service user),

I recently attended Ealing's IAPT Running to Better Health, which is an 8 week structured programme designed to improve, mood, sleep and reduce stress by undertaking a weekly group session of exercising, walking and running, which culminated in us all being able to take on a local 5K Park Run.

The programme is run in a fun social environment, whilst the motivation and instruction supplied by our two instructors Alison and Bev was of the highest order and helped us all rise to the challenge. Many Thanks to Ealing IAPT and in particular Alison and Bev.

Dear Ealing Runner

We are very grateful that you took the time to post your views on Running to Better Health. You are a great advertisement for the service and your post will undoubtedly encourage others to sign up to it as well. We are really proud of this group and its facilitators Alison and Bev who designed it. Judging by the positive comments we have received, it has been a great success.

With your post you are really helping us to get the idea out there, that being active has huge benefits for both physical and mental health and everyone can benefit from it, regardless of their starting level of physical fitness. As you point out, its fun, social, rewarding and good for you inside and out, so worth giving it a try.

On behalf of Ealing IAPT, thank you so much for the feedback, Alison and Bev will be so pleased that they helped you and your fellow runners "rise to the challenge" of the 5K.

Well done and best wishes,

Louise
