I went to see a doctor in the hospital about my chronic skin problem. I saw the consultant 3 times and they couldn't say what I have although I told the consultant what it was as I saw a dermatologist back in my own country. Even though the consultant didn't agree with that. I have done 2 biopsies in that hospital but nothing prove that I was right , the doctor was still uncertain what this might be.
During this small surgery I was taking pills which minimise the production of histamine in my body and I even mention that to my dermatolog but they said it was totally fine to continue to take them they should affect the biopsy itself.
I suffer from URTICARIA PIGMENTOSA and is getting worst and worst every month. The dots get much more visible while running or cycling. The doctor during the visits did not notice that they were getting more redish only because they rub them with their finger. Its obvious that this would not appeared just by touching and i told the consultant that but them being a doctor didn't want to sound like their knowledge is worst than mine so totally ignored what I wanted to say.
Back in my country i saw two dermatologist and both of them confirm what it was. Without doing biopsy. All the symptoms proves that that's the URTICARIA PIGMENTOSA, even recent laboratory test confirm it.
They completely gave up on me, and my problem its not getting smaller but bigger. I cannot stop scratching my skin, more dots appearing on my back legs and my belly. I honestly have to go back to my country where they will definitely help me.
Shame though that living in that country paying taxes and NHS cannot help you while you in need.
