"Unhelpful admin staff in the diabetes and..."

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital (Harlow)

The admin staff in the diabetes & endocrinology department don't respond to your emails. I have an outstanding blood test result, which was completed more than 6 weeks ago and none of them answer their voicemail or emails. They're also not helpful when you speak to them.

The doctors in that department are polite but are only interested strictly in their own remit which isn't great if you have an issue like mine. I liked the nurse who did my short synacthen test; I found them kind and professional

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and particularly for giving us something to improve as well as saying how kind and professional our nurse lead was.

Our Patient Experience team are always on hand to resolve issues and the Chief Executive is keen to receive feedback directly about challenges to getting a good service. You can write to the Patient Experience Team at pals@pah.nhs.uk or direct to the CEO at chief-executive@pah.nhs.uk.

We are also on hand all day on the main hospital site in Room B20 for drop in visitors where we can discuss your concerns on the spot and usually, for something like this, are able to resolve issues immediately. We look forward to hearing from you or receiving your call on 01279 82 72 11.
