I have been a patient at Grosnevor/Gresty Brook for approx 25 years.
Most of my care has come from Grosnevor.
First of all, I would like to say something about wider support.
I have needed care and treatment a range of services provided y my GP surgery over the years including diabetic clinic , physio , phlebotomy .
Reception staff have never been anything but polite, professional and helpful.
The nurses who are responsible for diabetic clinic are again all of the above . Also they offer clear knowledgeable advice and over the past 13 years been more than helpful and patient with me in managing my diabetes.
Of course, over the years I have seen different g.p's at the surgery's and have had support with a wide range of medical issues , some straight forward and lovely such as pregnancy and post natal care and some life threatening/ changing events.
I cannot thank everyone involved in my care enough - in these challenging times for the NHS my care is , in my view , the very best.
I cannot end this review without saying a word or two about my named G.P.
They are and always have been, the best G.P I could ask for.
I have been treated with dignity and respect at all times.
They have a natural ability to put me at ease ( they know visiting the doctors is not what I like to do !)
However, they have always provided robust care and treatment , giving me opportunities to be involved and to make decisions in my own care.
Alongside this, they have ensured I have the information to make informed decisions.
They are human ---- and takes the time to listen , which in turn enables me to be open and honest about my health.
In a stretched NHS this cant be easy for them - but i believe their care and dedication are to be commended - I dread the day they leave/retire !
Thank you to my doctor and all the staff.
