"Long Unexplained Waits"

About: University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust

Firstly may I report that the medical staff were excellent in every way but the management staff displayed a "laissez-faire" attitude toward the patient merely expecting them to wait quietly until called and there was a total failure to provide any reasonable explanation for the one hour thirty minute delay. There was no apology nor explanation offered.

I speak of the X-ray department which I shall avoid in future.

I am so sorry to read of your experience in the X-ray Department. As a Trust we work hard to consistently provide an excellent service to our patients and visitors and it is disappointing to read that this was not your experience. I will share your feedback with the Management Team for the X-ray Department to ensure communication around wait times is improvement for the future.
