"Waste of time"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Accident and emergency

I visited the medical centre and A&E twice over the weekend. I was suffering from severe abdominal and lower back pain. The nurses were great and listened to me and tried to help me by giving me something to manage the pain. The doctor however was an absolute joke. The doctor couldn't get me out of the ward quick enough. After waiting three hours to get some relief the doctor told me I simply had to 'power through' that there was nothing they could do.

The doctor then proceeded to give me the wrong prescription which I had to get changed and sent me home.. I went to my GP afterwards and I felt like I wasn't going mad. The GP took a urine sample and bloods and actually gave me a diagnosis. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of care I received.
