What I liked

Though the treatment i got was first class i had to wait ages to be seen.

There was littel or no parking and i had to walk a long distance with arthritice in my knees.

Initially i was sent for an X Ray and this was some distance away so another walk.

The staff could not X ray left knee as only right knee had been referred so ive had to revisit GP to get another referral.

It was a very hot day and there was no water machine available though staff were offering tepid water from a jug.

Doctor was great really made me feel supported and treated me well.

Pity the rest doesnt match up.

What could be improved

Adequate parking at reasonable price.

Appointment that stipulated the time i would be seen not the time they wanted me available.

Suitable refreshments.

Xray in advance if needed (as per sheet sent to me).

Anything else?

When i aw specialist at The Spire Hospital the whole service was professional and i was treated as if i was important. At Southmead i felt they were doing me a favour by letting me use theri services.
