"A wonderful experience full of care and compassion"

About: St Helier Hospital / Maternity

I recently had my second baby in the Birthing unit where I had the full attention of a midwife and student midwife. The whole experience from start to finish was so special. Yes it was extremely painful but everyone there took such great care of me. The facilities there are so clean, warm and comfortable. I'm just sorry I didn't get to have my first baby there. I wish more people could avail of his service as having my baby in the bath was one of the best experiences of my life and caused me so much less trauma than my first. Excellent and tireless work those midwives do and I want to say thanks.

Hello Freyja thank you for taking the time to share this lovely feedback with us. As you rightly say our midwives work tirelessly as do all our staff to deliver the best possible care to all of our patients. We are pleased you were so well looked after, and we will be sharing your feedback with our Head of Midwifery.
