About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Neurosurgery

I was transferred from Derby Royal following a sub arachnoid haemorrhage . My care was excellent both medical and nursing. I particularly remember a nurse immediately after initial surgery who in my opinion held all of the qualities I would expect from a nurse and many many more.At all times the nurse went over and above what care one would expect to receive from any nurse.

Please tell them thank you and that I have such respect for the way the nurse treated patients.....with such care respect and love...a shinning star.....

Thank you for your kind words, which I have shared with the team. If you remember the name of the nurse, please let our patient experience team know on QMCPET@nuh.nhs.uk so they can pass it on.

You might also be interested to know that nominations have recently opened for NUHonours, our staff awards. In light of your experience, I thought you might wish to nominate the nurse for an award (this would fall under the Surgery Division Award). If you would like to, you can find out more and nominate here: www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours.

Best wishes
