"My Husband being unable to breathe properly"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

I called 999. Had a very polite, caring young lady speaking to me in a calm, professional manner. The Paramedics arrived approximately one hour, ten minutes after the call. REECE apologized profusely for taking along time to arrive.... and was also very professional and caring... not to mention very knowledgeable. My husband was in a lot of pain and it was dealt with quickly after he had been accessed.

LEWIS a very well mannered and caring young man was also very kind, considerate and professional. I know my husband felt safe in the hands of those two gentleman.

The Ambulance men, Chris and Pete made the journey to the Hospital a very memorable experience, very kind and caring professionals also.

Dear Turnpike,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. I hope your husband is recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients and their families when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in your husband's care, however to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards,

Sharifa
