"Childbirth: Amazing care and support at Frimley Park"

About: Frimley Park Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I'm really sorry it took me so long to write this as my baby is almost 3 months now but I wanted to thank every single person from the antenatal ward, labour ward and postnatal ward for the exceptional and outstanding care my baby and I received from the time I was admitted to be induced up until my discharge from the hospital. You all made me feel safe, calm and confident. I was initially terrified as I know from my first birth how painful labour and delivery by induction can be, but the support each and everyone offered, the very detailed information I was given before each procedure, your unwavering patience, understanding and kindness in moments of doubt or fear or pain were second to none. I am very grateful and can't thank you all enough for your care and support. Words can't begin to describe my level of gratitude. You've given me faith again in maternity and childbirth.

Georgie, Francesca, Vicky, Becky from the antenatal ward, thank you for supporting me during my induction and time with you on. You helped me maintain my sanity and gave me the courage I needed to carry on as calmly as possible.

Lexi from the delivery suite, you are my superstar. I will never forget all that you did for me. And I hope your back is better now and that your son had a lovely birthday still. What an epic birth but I never could have done it without you. I will always remember you very fondly. You are an exceptional midwife.

And of course a big thank you goes to all the staff that looked after me during and after birth. My memory is failing to recall all your names but my heart does not fail in expressing my gratitude. You were amazing!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
