"Hip replacement surgery Wishaw general hospital"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Went in on Monday morning for my operation. The care the nurses gave me was fantastic. Then on ward 14 friendly so caring the team was great. When the physio team came I was so reassured with the time, patient with their concerns about my hip and me as a person. They took time to talk and reassured me everything wasn't an effort to them. You seen that they loved their job. So I am glad and happy that we have the best men and women who are care professionals. we shouldn't take them for granted I'm so happy with my 4days stay in hospital.

Dear Optimum

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments online. It's great to hear that you have had a good experience of physiotherapy whilst in hospital for your hip replacement. The physiotherapy team are passionate about providing the best possible care alongside the rest of the staff on the ward and will be delighted with your comments. I will ensure they are passed on and wish you all the very best in making a full recovery.

Thanks again

Claire Rae
