"Thank you to everyone at the Alex"

I found a breast lump and because I have a history of bc in my family, the NHS 2-week wait was proving to be more than I could bear. By the 3rd day, I phoned to enquire about the costs involved and how soon I could be seen. The nurse I spoke to was kind and extremely helpful. I was actually seen the next day. All my tests were carried out on that same day and to my enormous relief, my lump was a just a cyst.

Had I not been so lucky the Alex would have sent my biopsy results to my NHS consultant which would, fortunately, have just arrived in time for my original 2-week appointment, cutting down further anxious waiting time for me.

I am so glad I made the decision to visit the Alex. My consultant, the nurses and all the staff were friendly and efficient and the costs were explained before each test.
