I was recently taking to the A & department by Ambulance , the ambulance staff were very thorough and kept check on my vital but werent allowed to administer pain relief, arrived at A & E and eventually was taken to a side room and had my bp, ecg and bloods taken, the doctor came and checked what was wrong and at midnight came and told me everything was ok and was fee to go home, Has im unemployed and arrive at the hospital by ambulance and had no medication or money with me enquired how i was suppose to get home was told that the hospital was responsible to get me home because of costs. I understand and sympathise about the cuts made to the NHS , but has i have had a TIA and have COPd and no family members who drive had to walk home to Bishop Auckland by the time I got home had gone nearly 12 hrs without pain relief, had no inhalers so was breathless and my feet were in a lot of pain one of which was bleeding
"neck and shoulder pain"
